1. Relevant functions of the International Organization IAEA
The full name of the Chinese of this international organization is the International Atomic Energy Agency, which plays a major role in global nuclear energy governance and plays the role of "guardian".

According to US media reports, the organization has fallen into a serious funding crisis, and their annual budget is about $700 million a year, but in fact, the membership fees collected are not so much, and there is still a funding gap of about $100 million.
And the US media also said that China still owes huge dues, the amount of which is about 460 million. If the Chinese side fails to complete the payment of this contribution in time, it is likely to lead to the suspension of the institution.
Simply put, it is to dump the funding problems that the agency is currently facing.
Second, the IAEA's funding crisis is not so simple
According to the investigation, we found that the current funding crisis of the IAEA is not caused by our arrears. As the world's top two economic giants, China and the United States have excellent GDP results every year and considerable economic strength.
At the same time, China and the United States are also important participants in the organization, so they bear a large responsibility for the expenditure of dues.
We do have about $460 million in unpaid dues, but the United States also has the same problem, and the unpaid contributions of the two countries together have exceeded $1.06 billion. The US media directly dumped the problem on us, which is really sinister.
We will not escape reality, let alone default on the payment of our dues. However, the US side, which also did not complete the payment of its dues, took this opportunity to forcibly smear us, in an attempt to once again create a negative image of us as unruly, without credibility and without a view of the overall situation.
On the face of it, it appeared that it was only a question concerning the payment of contributions to international organizations. But in fact, behind the payment of dues, there is also the smear and slander of our national image.
The political attacks of the United States on us have not stopped, and the sanctions against us have gradually spread from the field of science and technology to all aspects.
In recent years, relevant state departments have been constantly stressing the importance of telling China's story well and establishing a correct international image in the international community.
In order to do this, we must not only start from ourselves, not only tell China's story to the world, but also curb the malicious smear of the United States against us.
We have been actively participating in the global governance activities of relevant international organizations and have been actively shouldering the responsibilities that a world power should assume.
The reason why the IAEA dues have not yet been paid is mainly because of the IAEA's attitude towards Japan's nuclear sewage discharge incident.
We are not satisfied with or agree with this attitude of the organization, so we will decide to adopt a relatively cold attitude now.
In addition to the Fukushima nuclear sewage treatment incident that has already occurred in Japan, there is now a nuclear submarine technology sharing agreement awaiting a response from the IAEA.
