On September 24, the establishment ceremony of the 2023 Huairou District National Science Popularization Day Science Popularization Fair and Science and Technology Museum Alliance was held in Huairou Science City Innovation Town. Nearly 3,000 people from scientific research institutes in Zaihuai, science and technology education experience base of science and technology museum alliance, enterprise (park) science and technology association organizations, science and technology enterprises, science and technology popularization workers, residents, primary and secondary school students participated.

On the same day, the 2023 National Science Popularization Day in Huairou District was also launched with a series of activities, including four themed activities: science popularization lecture hall, science garden party, science and technology gas station, and science popularization market. In the popular science lecture hall, Zhang Shuai, associate researcher of Huairouyuan, Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Sun Zhibin, deputy director and researcher of the Space Experiment Technology Office of the System Room of the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, respectively, taught popular science courses entitled "Low Temperature and Superconductivity" and "Human Dreams of Flying to Space" to the public and student representatives.
