From September 22nd to 24th, Fangshan District Landscaping Bureau, Qinglonghu Town and Beijing Xingke Luyuan Cultural and Creative Development Co., Ltd. held the International Panda Festival ecological and cultural activity in Fangshan People's Park. The reporter of Beijing Youth Daily learned that this event takes giant pandas as the theme, and displays the unique charm of giant pandas in the form of panda cultural display exhibitions, ecological culture classrooms, panda painting experiences, and sales of cultural and creative products around panda, aiming to spread giant panda culture and promote the protection of giant pandas in China with the power of ecological culture.
At the event site, the staff dressed in giant pandas and square puppet costumes attracted the attention of many friends of all ages. A variety of panda culture displays were also displayed at the scene, including panda national gemstones from Shuiyu Village, Qinglonghu Town, gourds carved with panda patterns, postcards printed with panda patterns and other panda cultural works, which not only showed the cute image of giant pandas "in a natural state", but also evoked the concept of visitors caring for giant pandas through visual, sensory and other artistic means, so that giant panda culture moved from pen ink Danqing to the hearts of visitors.
The Eco-Culture Classroom session uses a format that children like to see, telling the knowledge of giant pandas and biodiversity. Under the children's brushes, the vivid pandas jumped on the paper, and they also established the concept of protecting nature while enjoying the fun of nature. During the activity, the students actively asked questions and interacted enthusiastically, which was full of harvest.
It is understood that in 1993, Chengdu held the "International Panda Festival" to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the mainland's campaign to save giant pandas, and since then every September 22 has been designated as the International Panda Day. The event enhanced the public's awareness of the protection of giant pandas, and at the same time established the values of loving ecology and caring for life, and the families participating in this activity said that they would be active propagators and exemplary practitioners of the concept of ecological civilization in the future, and jointly build a beautiful home where man and nature live in harmony.
