Black people are walking in the footsteps of the world – South Africa's history and Zuma's political career
The footsteps of blacks traveled all over the world with the infamous slave trade, and their characteristic skin has always been talked about. In the world of sports, blacks have always been talked about with their strong physique, and the United States has also had a famous black President Barack Obama.
However, South Africa, a powerful country on the African continent, has long been dominated by whites, even though blacks make up 75% of the population in this country. Thanks to the efforts of famous black politicians such as Mandela, apartheid finally disappeared from the country, but South Africa's subsequent presidential campaign was somewhat mixed.
Jacob Zuma, a politician who fought hard for the rights of black people, his life was full of ups and downs and glory.
Zuma was born into a poor family in South Africa, but he did not succumb to poverty, and at the age of 16 he became politically active, participated in the African National Congress, and fought for the rights of black people.
In his youth, he tried to resist the ruling government through armed struggle, but was arrested and sentenced to prison.
After spending 10 years in prison, Zuma was released and the underground organization of the ANC was re-established. Two years later, he returned to South Africa as one of the first leaders to participate in the establishment of the new South Africa.
As president of the new South Africa, Zuma faces enormous challenges. South Africa's economy is in decline, unemployment is rising, the gap between rich and poor is widening, and crime remains high. At the same time, South Africa has a serious AIDS problem, with the highest number of infections in the world.
Zuma has undertaken a series of reforms and adjustments aimed at improving South Africa's economy, education, health care, fight crime and corruption, and rural development. However, South Africa still faces many difficulties, and how to solve the unemployment problem, fight AIDS and improve people's livelihood remains an urgent task for South Africa.
Outside of his political life, Zuma's private life is also very colorful. He was the first president of South Africa to openly practice polygamy, with seven wives and 23 children.
However, Zuma's political career has not been easy. He was charged with corruption and rape, and at one point arrested and imprisoned. His private life has also caused controversy.
Zuma is a controversial figure, both politically and privately. He has had ups and downs on the South African political scene, but his efforts have contributed to the democratic process in South Africa.
South Africa is an important country on the African continent and China's largest trading partner in Africa. South Africa's development is closely linked to China, and a stable and prosperous South Africa is of great significance to the entire African region.
It is hoped that South Africa can move towards a new era of harmony, stability and prosperity through better governance, economic development and improved people's livelihood.
