IN 2023, THE PUBG CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ("PCL") CELEBRATES ITS FIFTH ANNIVERSARY. The 2023 PCL Spring Tournament ended with Team 4AM winning the championship, and now the 2023 PCL Summer Tournament will set sail again, and from October 3rd, it's all here!
The 2023 PCL Summer Tournament will be held from October 3 to October 29, with a total prize fund of 3 million RMB, using the "points format" throughout the whole process, divided into two stages: regular season and playoffs. The regular season lasts for 3 weeks and is played in a "midweek + breakout + weekly final" format, with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as mid-week matches, Friday as breakout matches, and weekends as weekly finals, with 6 rounds on each match day. The map order is Miramar, Miramar, Tergo, Vihandi, Eranger, Eranger.
Regular Season (October 3 - October 22)
The 24 PCL clubs will be divided into three divisions: Ellager, Miramar and Vihandi, with 8 clubs each. Mid-week tournaments are held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and the top 8 teams ranked according to the "points format" advance to the weekly finals of that week. The remaining 16 teams compete in a breakout every Friday, with the top 8 teams advancing to that week's finals. After the end of the weekly competition, the points of the current week's midweek competition will be cleared and will not be accumulated to the next week's midweek competition; Points for the Weekly Finals will be accumulated until the end of the 3-week regular season. The top 16 clubs in the weekly finals will advance to the playoffs, while the bottom 3 clubs will be relegated.
Playoffs (October 25 - October 29)
The 2023 PCL Summer Playoffs will be played from October 25 to October 29, with 16 teams competing over 5 days in six games per day, with the top-ranked team winning the 2023 PCL Summer Championship according to the Points format.
Event Prize Money
The total prize money of this summer tournament is 3 million RMB, and the playoff ranking prize is 2.9 million RMB, of which the champion will receive 1 million RMB. Individual awards MVP and God of War bonus 50,000 RMB each.
