Today in the history of "918"
The September 18 Incident, also known as the Mukden Incident and the Wicker Lake Incident. It was the sudden attack on Shenyang by the Japanese Kwantung Army in northeast China on September 18, 1931, and occupied northeast China by force. The 18 September Incident was a war of aggression against China deliberately created and launched by Japan, the beginning of the Japanese imperialist attempt to conquer China by force, the starting point of China's War of Resistance Against Japan, the beginning of China's partial War of Resistance and the opening of the Eastern Battlefield of World War II. After the 918 incident, the local war of resistance of the Chinese people also marked the starting point of the world anti-fascist war.
