In the past two days, the Spring and Autumn Tourism Asia Pacific Department has received many calls inquiring about Thailand's visa-free policy and travel information, and Thai tourism products have also been adjusted accordingly.
According to the staff, the air tickets and travel products to Thailand during the Mid-Autumn Festival National Day Golden Week have basically been sold out in the first half, and there are still some spare places in the middle and back journeys. After the National Day holiday, the airline company launched a special ticket of 99 yuan to fly to Thailand, in order to cooperate with the visa-free policy to produce market effects.
In fact, before the introduction of the visa-free policy, Thailand itself was one of the popular destinations for Chinese tourists to travel abroad.
Of course, the introduction of the visa-free policy has prompted some citizens to include Thailand travel in their plans. On the Qunar platform, the search volume of Thai air tickets in the past two days increased by more than 70% compared with last week.
However, the price of air tickets has not risen, and during the November period, flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other places to Bangkok still cost less than 1,000 yuan.
