BYD announced that on August 31, the Tang DM-p Champion Edition, Ares Edition, Tang EV Champion Edition, and Tang DM-i Champion Edition 200km Premium Edition will be officially launched. The Tang DM-p Champion Edition/God of War Edition and Tang EV Champion Edition mainly upgrade the exterior, interior design and configuration, and the Tang DM-i Champion Edition 200km Premium Model is a new top-equipped model.
Referring to BYD's recently launched Song PLUS DM-I/EV Champion Edition, the official price at the time of listing was reduced by 10,000 yuan from the pre-sale price, and combined with the current pre-sale of Tang DM-p/EV Champion Edition of 270,000 yuan and 250,000 yuan, it is expected that the starting price of Tang DM-p/EV Champion Edition is 260,000 yuan and 240,000 yuan.

Tang DM-p Champion Edition/God of War Edition, Tang EV Champion Edition, and Tang EV Champion Edition are dressed up with the same Chinese knot of the Han family through the taillights. The Champion Edition model was fitted with new styling 20-inch wheels and silver-glazed white exterior paint. The God of War version adopts silver sand black paint, and is blackened in the Logo, side window trim, roof rack, front grille and other positions, the door handle is added with the yellow "Tang" character, and it is equipped with 21-inch wheels + front six-piston calipers.

The interior of the Tang DM-p/EV Champion Edition has added a lotus gray color scheme, the passenger panel mood lights have been upgraded, and the door panels have been added with diamond-shaped leather wrapping + stitching. The new car adds a 2.5K resolution center control screen, built-in DiLink (5G) system, 50W wireless charging, and Yunjian-C intelligent damping body control system (FSD variable damping suspension for the entry model). The interior of the God of War version is mainly black, the seats, door panels, passenger panel, and center armrest box are covered with black suede-like material, and the steering wheel is covered with black leather.
The Tang DM-p Champion Edition/God of War Edition follows the plug-in hybrid system of the old 1.5T+ dual motor, with a pure electric cruising range of 215km and a fuel consumption of 6.5L/100km. The Tang EV Champion Edition has the same power and range as the previous model, and is equipped with 3 types of power, single-motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive, equipped with 90.3kWh and 108.8kWh blade batteries, corresponding to a cruising range of 600km, 730km, and 635km. The Tang DM-i Champion 200km Premium is equipped with a larger capacity battery pack, and the pure electric cruising range under comprehensive working conditions has been increased to 200km.
