Huzhou, September 9 (Hu Fengsheng, Liu Hongyu) On September 9, the torch relay of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou was launched in Huzhou, Zhejiang. With the theme of "Seeing Beautiful China in Huzhou", the Huzhou Station Torch Relay featured a total of 170 torchbearers, including well-known sports workers, models of the times, business elites and other outstanding representatives from all walks of life.

In this torch relay, Zhang Hongye, a takeaway rider from Nanxun, Huzhou, served as the 47th torchbearer, and his excellent "resume" came from a thrilling act of righteousness.

Late one night in the winter of 2022, Zhang Hongye saw a man jumping into the river to kill himself on the way to deliver takeaway. Zhang Hongye risked his personal safety and jumped into the river to rescue. It was a winter night, the river was cold and piercing, the icy river water pricked Zhang Hongye's whole body, Zhang Hongye was close to losing his strength, used his whole body strength to drag the man who fell into the water to the river slowly approached, and struggled to lift the man, and then successfully rescued the man who fell into the water under the concerted efforts of the police and surrounding people who arrived in time. During the rescue process, Zhang Hongye accidentally lost his mobile phone, and the next day he had a severe cold, and did not run orders for several days. Despite this, he still said that he will help in the future when encountering similar things.

In the local area, Zhang Hongye's deeds of saving people have become a good story, and he was also awarded "Huzhou City Sees Righteous Courage as an Advanced Person" and credited with second-class merit, and was selected as a "Huzhou Good People" list and "Zhejiang Good People" in the second quarter of 2023.

Zhang Hongye said that his family is also very proud of him becoming a torchbearer, and watching the live broadcast throughout the whole process supports him, and the affirmation of the people around him makes him feel very excited.
