According to the Comcommupdate website reported on September 29, Bloomberg quoted sources familiar with the matter as saying that Salt, a Swiss telecom operator invested by French billionaire Xavier Niel, has shelved plans for an initial public offering (IPO). A source told Bloomberg that Salt chose to abandon the IPO at the peak of European corporate listings because investors favored high-growth stocks during the peak period. However, the person added that Salt may reconsider its IPO plans at a later date.
