While the exact timing of the duo's relationship is unknown, Dennings has revealed that announcing their engagement was a surprise to each other.
"There is no plan. There was no kneeling – I don't even remember what happened after that," she said while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show in February 2022. "The two of them just suddenly felt 'Should we get married?' And then 'yes'. I was crying."
Since their relationship was made public on Instagram, the highly intimate couple has been quite low-key. Still, the actress shared many sweet, funny and feminine photos of the musician on social media.
