At present, the most concerned thing for art candidates is the time of the 2024 art unified examination.
Previously, judging from the time of the 2024 art unified examination announced in Shanghai, it was once again advanced. As few days as little as a few days, as many as 15 days! This makes all art candidates have to boldly guess: Will the 2024 art unified examination in other provinces be advanced? What are the pros and cons of taking the UEC earlier? How should art test takers respond?
The Shanghai 2024 Art Unified Examination is advanced
As early as the end of June this year, Shanghai released the 2024 art unified examination time, which is clear that it will start on November 18, 2023, which is earlier than the 2023 art unified examination time.
Among them, the broadcasting and hosting arts classes were held on November 18-19, 2023, eight days earlier than the class of 2023.
There is a precedent for the art examination to be taken in advance
Looking at the art unified examination over the years, since 2019, the time of the provincial unified examination has been advanced to different degrees in each category, ranging from a few days to as long as 45 days, and there are very few delays.
After comparing the 2023 and 2022 art examination times, we found that:
Among the 31 provinces in China, only two provinces, Yunnan and Tibet, and most categories in Gansu have been delayed in 2023 compared with the 2022 unified examination, and all categories or most categories in the other 28 provinces have advanced the time of the art unified examination time.
Among them, there are 14 provinces in the 2023 and 2022 broadcasting and hosting categories, and the longest advance time is 22 days in Shaanxi; There are 3 provinces that postponed the unified examination, namely Hunan, Gansu and Yunnan, and the longest delay is 8 days in Hunan and Gansu.
If the time is pushed forward, compared with the 2021 class, the broadcasting and hosting art examination time of most provinces in the country has also been advanced and postponed, with a total of 11 provinces in advance of the unified examination, and the longest advance time is 22 days in Shaanxi and Shanghai; There are 5 provinces that postponed the unified examination, namely Zhejiang, Hubei, Yunnan, Fujian, and Gansu, and the longest delay is 15 days in Fujian.
From the 2024 Shanghai Art Unified Examination time is comprehensively advanced, to the 2023 and 2022 national provincial art unified examination time most categories are advanced, we have reason to believe that the 2024 national provincial art unified examination time is also likely to be advanced.
Reasons and benefits of the advance of the UEC
Judging from the reform policy of the art examination promulgated by the Ministry of Education over the years, it is the general trend that the art unified examination time is generally advanced.
This is closely related to the Ministry of Education's emphasis on "appropriately improving the results of cultural courses in the college entrance examination for art students", after all, the review time of any art major course and cultural course is relatively conflicting. If more time is spent in specialized classes, less time will inevitably be spent in cultural classes, and vice versa.
In the case of the Ministry of Education's requirement to "appropriately increase the cultural scores of art students in the college entrance examination", it is inevitable that the art unified examination for all art candidates will be advanced in advance. On the one hand, it is for all candidates, all things are the same, ensuring the fairness and impartiality of the art examination; On the other hand, the art unified examination is a basic examination, and after the examination time is advanced, it is not only conducive to students who do not take the school examination to have more time to prepare for cultural class review, but also to help students who are better prepared for the school examination.
What should I do if the UEC time is in advance?
Since the 2024 art examinees are the first batch of candidates after the reform of the art examination, they may be more flustered in their hearts and do not know how to deal with the advance of the art examination.
Especially after the national unified art examination categories are unified into six categories, including music, performance (directing), dance, broadcasting and hosting art, calligraphy, and art and design, candidates in some provinces are relatively unfamiliar with the newly added art unified examination categories.
What the editor wants to tell every art candidate is that don't panic in the next time, no matter how the art test is reformed, every candidate is competing with candidates in the province. Candidates in the same province are faced with the same syllabus and the same policy, as long as they have a clear idea, they will naturally be able to deal with it calmly.
In the following time, the most important thing for each candidate to do is to actively prepare for the exam with the teacher's ideas and rhythm, and it is more important to be confident in the future. If there is anything you don't understand, ask more teachers and classmates, communicate more, check and fill in the gaps in time, pay more attention to the training of basic skills and the improvement of effects, rather than mechanically and repeatedly doing useless work.
Of course, candidates can refer to the syllabus of the unified examination, or refer to the previous evaluation standards, and actively prepare for the exam under the guidance of the teacher. At present, the syllabus of the unified examination of all provinces in the country has basically been released, and after the unified examination, art candidates can decide whether to participate in the school examination according to their own unified examination results and their target universities.
The editor's suggestion is that for those students with a solid professional foundation and high artistic talent, they can lock the target universities as the top art colleges among the "30+18" institutions, and actively prepare for the school examinations of these target universities.
For candidates who pass the unified examination but are not very ideal, Xiaobian recommends two preparations: on the one hand, actively participate in the school examination, because one more school examination is one more opportunity, after all, the school examination is the independent question of the major institutions, what if your style is very suitable for the school examination? As long as there is a spirit of not giving up until the end, there will definitely be gains; On the other hand, if you do not prepare for the school exam, then go all out to prepare for the cultural class, relax and travel lightly, and use the results of the cultural course to make up for the lack of the art examination, you will definitely reap the rewards.
Student, what do you think?
