His ancestral home is Pinghe, Fujian, and later moved to Hubin North Road, Siming District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province, and has lived in Vienna, Austria since 2000. He graduated from Jimei University and Fujian Normal University with a degree in music, and studied at the Juilliard School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. He is currently a member of the Chinese Poetry Society, the Chinese Poetry Society, the China Yinglian Society, the Chinese Prose Literature Society and the China Prose Network.
