A video shows people putting several snakes they caught in bottles as night falls, with one person saying, "Caught 4 cobras tonight." For the safety of the villagers, we also work overtime (catching snakes). ”
On the 7th, the reporter contacted a villager in Baimatang Village, Shimen Town, Tongxiang, she said that some cobras were indeed found in the village recently, although the specific number is not clear, but people are worried about travel safety. Villagers said the snakes were said to have escaped from the farmed house because someone rented a villager's house to raise the snakes, but the snakes somehow escaped and are currently being apprehended by the relevant authorities.
Another villager also confirmed the presence of cobras in the village, and the whole village is actively investigating, but the exact number is not clear.
The staff of the local fire department said that they did receive an alarm that snakes were found in Baimatang Village a few days ago, and the firefighters have gone to deal with it.
Village committee staff explained that the cobras found were juvenile, few in number, and not wild snakes, and had been properly handled.
