On August 26, a man in his 30s in South Korea entered the dressing room of a women's public bathhouse in Daejeon Metropolitan City in disguise and secretly filmed a video with his mobile phone.
His actions were seen by the bathhouse staff as flawed, and the police arrested him on the spot. Looking at the phone, I found that the video content was an image of a woman changing clothes. After interrogation, the man confessed to the video being used in an attempt to underground sex trafficking and satisfy his personal curiosity.
On August 28, police applied to the court for an arrest warrant under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence, citing the man's illegal video shooting for profit from the sex trade. But the court said the video had not been leaked to cause harm and refused to issue an arrest warrant.
