In order to effectively maintain the cleanliness of the classified garbage cans and improve the environmental hygiene of the community, this morning, the Jinlong Community of Huanhe Street organized community staff, party members and volunteers to carry out the "Garbage Sorting I First" volunteer service activity in the jurisdiction.
As the main place for residents' household waste, garbage cans accumulate a lot of dirt after a period of use, especially kitchen waste cans are often covered with stains and oil stains, which seriously affect the living environment. Volunteers rinse the trash cans with buckets, carefully wipe the inside and outside of the cans to ensure that each can is clean and tidy, and replace the broken bins during the cleaning process. And guide residents to correctly put batteries into hazardous waste bins, and advocate residents to participate in the garbage sorting team.
This centralized cleaning not only beautifies the environmental sanitation of the garbage drop-off point in Jinlong community, but also extends the service life of the garbage can, and lays a good foundation for the garbage classification work.
