In order to accelerate the construction of child-friendly pilot communities in our district, recently, the "Friendly Yabao Children Create the Future" Huadu District Child Friendly Community Construction Site Promotion Meeting and Activity hosted by the Huadu District Women's Federation and Xiuquan Street Office was held in Yabao Community in Xiuquan Street.
At the meeting, the person in charge of Xiuquan Street Office introduced the practices and experience of Yabao community in creating a child-friendly community. Yabao Community has been actively promoting the integration of child-friendly concepts into community construction, and has integrated the "Care for Children, Enjoy a Better Life" action into the community's child-friendly service work to create a child-friendly community.
After selection, Yabao community has become one of the two practice bases of the city's Yangcheng family education public curriculum system research and development and practice project. According to reports, in the next two years, the Municipal Family Education Promotion Association will join hands with the research team of Sun Yat-sen University to regularly hold a series of family education lectures, salons and parent-child interactive activities in the community to help community residents and friends become wise parents and build harmonious families. On the day of the event, Yazheng School affiliated to Kwong Weiyu Memorial Middle School in Huadu District, Huzhong Hospital, Guangzhou Shengquan Hospital Party Branch, Xiuquan Street Social Work Service Station and Yabao Community Residents' Committee jointly signed the agreement of "Lebao Yayuan Red Union Co-construction Project" and unveiled the "Lebao Yayuan Studio". With "Lebao Yayuan Studio" as the carrier, the parties will appoint professionals to provide children and families with parent-child play, child psychological counseling, tutoring guidance, marriage relationship adjustment and other services. At the scene, Huzhong Hospital and Shengquan Hospital set up free consultation desks to provide community residents with pediatric, dental, child psychology, learning disability counseling and other services. Teacher Tao Ying from Yang Meiying's Family Education Famous Teacher Studio brought a family education lecture on the theme of "The Construction of Parent-Child Relationship in Family Education" to the parents present.
The person in charge of the District Women's Federation stressed that the construction of child-friendly communities is an important measure to promote children's development and improve people's livelihood, and it is also an effective way to improve the quality of the city. Wide connection, cohesion; Create a brand, plan early; Be good at learning and emphasize publicity" in four aspects, compacting responsibilities, linking up and down, coordinating and making all-round efforts to do a good job in child-friendly demonstration communities (villages), and promote the construction of child-friendly cities in our region.
In the next step, the District Women's Federation will vigorously promote the construction of child-friendly communities (villages) from the aspects of public services, rights and interests protection, growth space, development environment, and child participation, run the child-friendly concept through the whole process of community construction and social development, and promote the construction of child-friendly cities with the concept of child-friendly "small fulcrum" to stimulate the "big pattern" of urban development, and contribute to the high-quality development of Huadu.
