Recently, the Jinchengjiang District Fire Rescue Brigade of Hechi City took the autumn school start as an opportunity to organize all primary and secondary schools in the jurisdiction to carry out the first lesson of fire safety and the theme essay and painting competition of "how much do you know about fire safety" for primary and secondary school students.
The event covered more than 60 primary and secondary schools in the district, with thousands of students participating, and received more than 1,000 paintings. Through learning fire safety knowledge, students will show their understanding of fire protection in the form of paintings, and use colorful crayons to outline a series of fire fighting pictures with clear themes, novel ideas, full colors and children's fun, fully showing the children's wild imagination and praise for firefighters who are not afraid of hardship and fatigue, "retrograde" to save people, and bravery.
Through hands-on painting, students have a deeper knowledge and understanding of fire protection knowledge. Wei Liuyun, a teacher at the No. 5 Primary School in Jinchengjiang District, was deeply touched by the children's paintings: "In the process of carrying out fire painting in the school, the children observed fire hydrants, fire extinguishers, evacuation indicators and other fire equipment in detail, and understood how to use them, which strengthened their awareness of safe consumption. ”
The activity not only enriched the campus safety culture, but also further shortened the distance between the fire department and the teachers and students of the school, created a strong fire safety atmosphere, and fully mobilized the initiative and consciousness of students to participate in fire safety education activities, and deeply rooted the concept of fire safety in their hearts.
