author:时尚办公网popoffices
The 5670 Wilshire Building is a landmark building built in 1962. The Rapt Studio design team was invited to upgrade the building's public spaces to design an environment with state-of-the-art facilities that meets the needs of the moment, bringing a sense of community and shared experience to the building's tenants.
The Rapt Studio design team presented the interior renewal of the 5670 Wilshire Tower in Los Angeles. Through this renovation, the tenants of the building will be brought a sense of community and a shared experience.
In the past, a commercial building had a huge competitive advantage in providing superior city views and large parking lots. But today, discerning tenants know they need much more than that.
5670 Wilshire Tower is a historically iconic 27-story building in Los Angeles. Built in 1962 to house the offices of the Commonwealth Bank of California, it is one of the tallest buildings on the West End and can be seen throughout the city, so it attracts attention.
With the rapid development of the city, the advantages of architecture no longer exist. The design team was therefore invited to renew the interior space and design an environment with state-of-the-art facilities that meets the needs of the moment, enhancing and promoting the healthy and productive productivity of tenants.
The solution: an underutilized underground space that is the perfect place to build a complete set of public facilities.
Because the building is adjacent to the famous "Museum Row" in the Miracle Mile neighborhood, an extraordinary art curation also becomes a key feature of the project (courtesy of NAVA Museum of Contemporary Art), drawing inspiration from the local community's conflicting grid system to show the shape of the intersection in a unique diamond form, and the landscape and ground design follow this design idea.
Other unique design elements include a dark wavy marble backdrop, a custom wavy wood veneer wall that echoes it, and sculptural linear lighting developed in collaboration with Luke Luminaires, which gives the lobby a luxurious and stylish artistic atmosphere.
Today, the building's tenants can work out or relax in the new fitness center, which features a yoga/boxing studio and private showers; Meetings can also be held in a freely reconfigurable conference center; Or relax on the lush outdoor terrace. In addition, tenants can present their work in a professional-grade theatrical atmosphere in a multimedia space with state-of-the-art facilities.
The exterior courtyard has also been renovated in this update, providing tenants with flexible semi-private spaces to meet, meet, work or book events.
The updated design also takes sustainability into mind. The building is LEED certified, and the parking lot offers electric vehicle charging stations and a vehicle-sharing program.
