Anthony said that although the attack method works theoretically for Android models, the target is mainly on the iPhone.

Compromised iPhone users frequently receive scams and other fraudulent pop-ups that render their iPhone unusable, and there is no way to mitigate such attacks other than to shut down or use Airplane mode.
