IT House news on September 6, security expert Anthony recently showed the media an attack tool called Flipper Zero, which costs only $170 (IT House Note: currently about 1241 yuan), which can send false radio signals to nearby smartphones and other devices, and achieve denial-of-service attacks through dense Bluetooth pop-ups.
TechCrunch tested and replicated the attack, and expert Anthony said that with amplifiers, the attack range can be extended to "thousands of feet."
Anthony said that although the attack method works theoretically for Android models, the target is mainly on the iPhone.
Compromised iPhone users frequently receive scams and other fraudulent pop-ups that render their iPhone unusable, and there is no way to mitigate such attacks other than to shut down or use Airplane mode.
