In this huge project, countless vehicles and equipment are intertwined to form a complex system. The China Manned Space Engineering Office revealed that the program covers many projects, including a new generation of carrier rockets "Long March 10", a new generation of manned spacecraft, lunar landers, lunar landing suits and so on. However, this alone is not enough, it is necessary to build and expand the launch site, and comprehensively upgrade the measurement and control system, technical support and logistics support system.
Landing on the moon requires supporting equipment in every possible way. From lunar modules to rockets to spacesuits, every detail must be meticulously crafted and unsloppy. The Artemis 1 mission will not be completed until 2022, making it extremely difficult to complete the Artemis 2 mission by 2025, and achieving a manned lunar landing of Artemis 3 is almost impossible.
In China, however, everything seems to be moving in an orderly manner. The Long March 10 launch vehicle is key and is expected to make its maiden flight in 2027. The Long March 10 is not only huge, but also has the ability to be reused, which is expected to reduce the cost and expense of launch while promoting the progress of manned lunar landing projects. A new generation of manned spacecraft has also recently been unveiled, and the huge space allows astronauts to work and rest more comfortably. This is especially critical for the long flights required to round trip to the Earth and the Moon, where a comfortable working environment can greatly improve mission efficiency.
