Minhang District seized the national strategic opportunity, actively implemented the "northern first" decision-making and deployment, took the initiative to step forward, strengthened docking, promoted the construction of major industrial projects with high quality and efficiency, and ensured the completion of the set goal of high-quality development and construction of Hongqiao Qianwan Area on schedule.
The reporter learned from South Hongqiao Group that a total of 12 industrial projects in Hongqiao Qianwan Area are in full swing this year, and a number of iconic and powerful projects such as Zoran (Shanghai) Innovation Base, Neusoft Shanghai Science and Technology Center, Hongqiao Qianwan Impression City MEGA have successively completed phased engineering results, helping to promote the construction of Hongqiao International Open Hub to a new level.
Zoran (Shanghai) Innovation Base Project
As the office building and innovation R&D center of Zoran headquarters, Zoran (Shanghai) Innovation Base will carry out the research and development of processes and special equipment in the fields of refining and chemical industry, new energy, etc., and create a future layout of the Yangtze River Delta manufacturing base with Shanghai headquarters as the core and radiating the Yangtze River Delta. The total planned land area of the project is about 26,000 square meters, and the total construction area is about 102,000 square meters, including 5 single buildings, with a total investment of about 1.036 billion yuan.
In the future, Zoran Co., Ltd. will take advantage of the perfect health supporting facilities and industrial chain potential of Qianwan Area, achieve complementary resources and coordinated development with technology, equipment, manpower, public facilities, etc., and strive to build an innovative platform integrating new process research and development, new material research and development, new energy technology research and development, and analysis and testing center, so as to provide strong technical support for the company's development, engineering technology research and development, achievement transformation and new business development.
The project will complete the topping out of the basement structure by the end of 2023, and the main structure is planned to be completed by the end of 2024.
Neusoft Shanghai Science and Technology Center Project
Neusoft Shanghai Science and Technology Center is a Shanghai R&D base invested and built by Neusoft Holdings around medical and health technology and Neusoft information technology industry, with the mission of integrating health technology and information technology, and cooperating with medical institutions in the region to build a new ecology of medical technology. The project plans to build an area of about 170,000 square meters, including two parts of headquarters economy and industrial research and development, a total of 5 high-rise buildings and 2 low-rise industrial supporting buildings.
The project aims to form an industrial cluster integrating R&D, operation, investment management, and alliance ecology by integrating Neusoft's multiple entities in the information industry and medical industry in East China. After the completion of the project, it will fully promote the development of biomedical industry in Hongqiao Qianwan Area to a strong trend of acceleration, high quality and internationalization.
At present, the project is in the construction stage of excavation and maintenance support of the foundation pit, which is expected to be completed in October 2023 and the basement structure construction will be completed in early 2024.
Hongqiao Qianwan Impression City MEGA project
Impression City MEGA is the most high-end commercial brand positioned by Print Power Group, and Hongqiao Qianwan Impression City MEGA is the second Impression City MEGA product in Shanghai created by Print Power Group. It is understood that the Hongqiao Qianwan Impression City MEGA project has a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan, covers a total area of 68,000 square meters, and will build a super-volume social experience center of about 260,000 square meters.
Through the integrated design strategy of architecture, interior and landscape, the project will create a commercial destination with both modern bazaar and natural elements, and build a complex commercial form consisting of centralized commercial and outdoor blocks. In the future, Hongqiao Qianwan Impression City MEGA will not only further improve the commercial supporting facilities in the Qianwan area, but also become a landmark work in the area.
At present, the east and west sides of the Impression City MEGA project are in the foundation pit construction stage, and the overall project is planned to be raised at the end of 2024 and the main structure will be topped out in 2025.
Wego (Shanghai) International Research Institute Project
Wego (Shanghai) International Research Institute Project is a medical research institute built in Shanghai by Wego Group, a leading domestic medical device enterprise, and plans to build four headquarters centers covering Wego Yangtze River Delta (Shanghai) Management Headquarters, Wego Capital Group, Wego Materials Group and Wego Overseas Business Department; and the medical industrial park of Wego Orthopedics Group, Wego Blood Purification Group and Wego Research Institute and other R&D centers. The project covers an area of about 61 acres, with a total investment of 2.3 billion yuan and a total construction area of about 186,000 square meters, mainly including 15 main buildings and two basement floors.
After the completion of the project, it will further complete the biomedical industry layout in Hongqiao Qianwan Area, form an industrial ecological layout from medical services, biomedicine, medical devices, pharmaceutical commerce, pharmaceutical cold chain distribution, etc., promote the agglomeration and cooperation of upstream and downstream enterprises, and strive to become a biomedical industry highland for the integrated development of biomedical R&D and health care, artificial intelligence and medical devices.
At present, the Wego (Shanghai) International Research Institute project has completed the main structure capping, and some hardcover, municipal, garden and other units have been actively preparing for construction, and the project is expected to be delivered in mid-2024.
Innovent Global R&D Center Project
With the integration of the Yangtze River Delta as a national strategy, Innovent decided to make a deep layout in the Yangtze River Delta, and finally firmly chose to land in the Hongqiao Qianwan area to build Innovent Biologics Global R&D Center project after comprehensive location advantages, industrial clusters, business environment, and service supporting factors. With a total investment of about 1.505 billion yuan and a total construction area of about 169,000 square meters, the project will focus on building an integrated technology platform for the early research and development of antibody drugs and a preclinical/clinical evaluation technology platform for antibody drugs in the future.
As the first major project to acquire land and start construction in the Qianwan area of Hongqiao International Central Business District, Innovent Biologics Global R&D Center has become the first project in the region to usher in structural capping this year, which marks a major breakthrough in the construction of biomedical industry highland in Qianwan area, further extending the chain, supplementing the chain, and strengthening the chain, and striving to build a 100-billion-level "Hongqiao Qianwan Health Circle of Friends".
The project has been topped out in April 2023 and is scheduled for completion in June 2024.
Shanghai International New Cultural and Creative E-sports Center Project
With a total planned investment of more than 5.8 billion yuan, the Shanghai International New Cultural and Creative E-sports Center (now officially approved as the Shanghai E-sports Center) will become the largest single investment project in the global e-sports industry after completion. The first phase of the project has a total construction area of 390,000 square meters, and the main construction content includes one international professional e-sports venue, one EDG Hechuang Auto League of Legends Branch Main Stadium, three industrial buildings, the world's first e-sports new cultural and creative hotel and Shanghai Super Hopson Hui Commercial Comprehensive Experience Center.
After the completion of the project, it will attract hundreds of domestic and foreign e-sports new cultural and creative related enterprises to settle in, absorb thousands of professional talents to work here, and comprehensively empower e-sports events, game research and development, animation, film and television, figurines, MCN institutions and other industrial directions, and fully support the high-quality development of the cultural and creative e-sports industry, one of the three major industrial clusters in Hongqiao Qianwan Area.
At present, the main structure of the north plot of project B is nearly capped, and the foundation pit of plot A near the subway monitoring area has been raised above the ground, and it is planned to be completed and opened in 2026.
