On the occasion of the centenary of the Party, General Peng Guangqian, chairman of the Chinese Language Think Tank, expressed the following nine views on the current world situation:
1. The world is at the intersection of the rise and fall of a great power that has not been encountered in a century. The centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China is also a historical period of great changes, great turns, and great rejuvenation in the world that have not occurred in a hundred years. In this historical period, the waves crashed on the shore and the dangers abounded, but the general situation was: rising in the east and descending in the west, political divisions and economic cooperation, the decline of the United States and the rise and fall of the society, the high mountains for the valley, and the deep valley for the mausoleum. Emerging forces have risen collectively and echelon-by-step, the center of gravity of the world's geopolitics and geo-economy has shifted eastward, the world structure has been three-dimensionally shaken, and the tide of history has rolled forward. This hundred years is a hundred years in which the United States has gone from holding the bull's ear of the West, ascending to the throne of world hegemony, to falling off the altar of god, and moving toward decline, and it is also a hundred years in which the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have fought hard and been reborn from the ashes. The majestic momentum of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation coincided with the helpless decline of US hegemony. Two hundred years, intersecting here, constitute a rare historical landscape.
2. The pandemic has triggered a major crisis in the capitalist system. 3. The feast of world financial monopoly capital is difficult to repeat. The rentier, parasitic and decadent nature are becoming increasingly prominent, the real economy is accelerating its outward transfer, the economy is becoming increasingly virtualized, the industry is becoming increasingly hollow, the economic structure is becoming more and more bubbled, and it is gradually losing the dominant position in the international market and the international financial system. The US debt is high, the treasury is empty, the inflation rate remains high, Russia resolutely emptied the US debt, the euro, the yen, and the renminbi directly challenged the dominance of the US dollar, the US dollar crisis, the US debt crisis, the credit crisis superimposed, the financial oligarchy turned his hands into clouds, overturned his hands for rain, bought short and sold short, empty gloves and white wolves, and lived by eating human blood and steamed buns.
4. Strategic autonomy is increasingly becoming the mainstream ideology in Europe. After the Cold War, the interests of Europe and the United States accelerated their differentiation, and the Western world accelerated fission. Attempts by the United States to continue to control Europe and make it a vassal of the United States are increasingly wary and resisted by Europe. As early as November 2018, Merkel said: After half a century of kneeling to Germany, we must control our own destiny. At the recent G-7 summit, Macron said the EU would not become a strategic vassal of China or an anti-China bloc in the United States. The Italian Prime Minister said: The G7 joint statement does not represent the position of all European countries. 5) The decline of US hegemony is suicide, not killing. From independence to the present, the United States has only been fully counted for 244 years. 6. The United States fantasizes about Latin Russia's control of China, insulting the intelligence of Russians. Russia is not a shallow nation to be manipulated, but a "fighting nation" that has been tested by the blood and fire of the anti-fascist war and has a world-class strategic power with a nuclear shield. The historical knots of the United States and Russia can be traced back to the Great Schism of the Eastern and Western Roman Empires, the Great Schism of the Eastern and Western Churches, and the opposition between Pan-Slavism and Pan-Germanism. I wonder if Russia has ever looked at North American cowboys in history? After the Cold War, the US-led NATO tirelessly expanded eastward, bringing the muzzle of the gun close to Russia's brain, seriously squeezing and endangering Russia's strategic living space. How can it be assumed that Russia will swallow this bitter fruit with blood? China and Russia are linked by mountains and rivers, and have natural complementarity in resources, manpower, economic structure, development potential and other aspects, and in the struggle against world power, the two countries hold hands, back to back, shoulder to shoulder, share fate, and rely on each other. It is an exaggeration for American politicians to try to alienate and play a great nation with a little trick!
7. The "Rejuvenation" of the Chinese nation has entered the fast lane. The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is a major event affecting the pattern of the contemporary world. 9. China and the United States have entered a stage of strategic game based on struggle. Trump is gone, Biden is coming. But Biden has not changed Trump's reactionary nature of anti-China, anti-China, and subjugation of China. Bidenism and Trumpism are nothing more than the difference between a mad dog and a fox. Sino-US relations have entered a stage of strategic game in which strangulation and anti-strangulation are based on struggle. We must abandon all naïve illusions, face up to competition, resolutely struggle and prepare for war. Adhere to the unity of deterrence, cessation, and victory.
