It is really a typical example of gold and silver mountains, the water and soil on the mountains are well maintained, the plants conserve more water, and the water resources are abundant. In the embrace of green mountains, blue water comes out of Ping Lake. Today, the four-season turquoise Yuanling Reservoir is like a pearl embedded in green waters and mountains, illuminating the road to prosperity for thousands of people. Yuanling Hydropower Station is a secondary power station of the upstream Hongduan Reservoir, and there is a tertiary power station below, and water resources have been fully utilized and developed, resulting in greater benefits.
Yuanling Hydropower Station also has a name, Yuanling Reservoir, the reservoir has a public welfare nature, to ensure downstream agricultural and domestic water, play a role in regulating floods. In the past, I had a misunderstanding about the reservoir, thinking that the rain during the flood season combined with the reservoir flood discharge caused greater flooding downstream. In fact, power generation and flood discharge are uniformly arranged and dispatched by higher-level departments, not by power stations. If the downstream flood involves two counties, it is up to the city to decide and can be carefully arranged. Today's dams are all cement dams with sand drainage to avoid siltation in reservoirs. In order to give full play to the function of water conservancy, the reservoir does not raise a large number of fish, and ensures the amount of water downstream. Therefore, the peak of the reservoir can be adjusted and will not cause flooding downstream.
The students visited the generator room, learned the principle of converting water energy into electricity, and knew that this is green energy and can continue to produce benefits. I also visited the living area, a mountain, all fenced, planted with various fruit trees, fruits to eat in all seasons, and large areas of hairy bamboo, you can dig spring shoots. Planting a piece of camellia oleifera tree can produce tea oil to meet your own living needs. There is also a fish pond up the mountain, and the fish caught in the reservoir can be eaten all year round in the pond. Living and working here is really a fairy life, eating green and healthy food, you can live a long life.
The most eye-catching thing is that the group of Hetian chickens they raised are lining up to welcome us. This Hetian chicken is a world-famous chicken and has won the World Gold Award. Changting Hetian chicken, mainly refers to the gelding rooster, which eats the rare earth-containing sand grains on the mountain. Purebred river chickens are small and have roosters of about three pounds. It is characterized by three yellow and three prongs, the skin and feet are golden yellow, and the chicken crown on the head has three prongs. Good quality chickens, which are freed up in the mountains, can eat grass and insects, have strong sports muscles, and are known as flying chickens, fighters among chickens. It takes a long time to raise it, about ten months before the chicken has a taste. After seeing this chicken, we really want to eat it, but because we don't have enough time to raise it, we can't eat it yet, which is a bit regrettable.
