On August 25, walking into the construction site of the Gui'an Huawei Cloud Data Center Global Command Center Project (Gui'an Huawei Cloud Data Center Area D1), trucks transporting materials came and went, tower cranes kept swinging arm operations, and more than 600 workers stepped up construction, sprinting hard to complete the main structure capping on September 15.
The total construction area of the Gui'an HUAWEI CLOUD Data Center Global Command Center Project is about 144,000 square meters, including a basement area of about 62,600 square meters and an aboveground area of about 81,400 square meters, which mainly consists of a five-story high-rise office building, two six-story high-rise office buildings, a two-storey multi-storey canteen, a seven-storey high-rise apartment, and four eight-storey high-rise apartments. The main functions of the project are Huawei's Global Managed Data Storage Center (Private Cloud), Huawei's Global IT Maintenance Engineer Base, and Huawei University's Strategic Reserve Training and Practice Base.
"Since entering the construction site in early March this year, we have reversed the construction period, formulated a scientific construction plan, and fully promoted the construction of the project." Yang Jianghua, the technical leader of the project at China Construction Fourth Bureau No. 1 Company, said that the project completion date is December 31, 2024. Among them, the topping date of the basement node is July 30 this year, and the topping out node of the single main body of the 9 buildings above ground is September 15.
Yang Jianghua said that in the process of project construction, from the preliminary procedures to the guarantee of water, electricity and other services, and then to irregular on-site supervision and guidance, all relevant departments of the new district have given strong support. At the same time, the project department effectively does a good job in quality management, organization management, technical management, material management, construction period management and other work, and the project construction is progressing in an orderly and steady manner.
Up to now, two office buildings and two apartments have been topped out, and the remaining five building monolithic main structures have been 80% to 90% completed. "At present, all construction progress is within our plan, and there is no problem in fully completing the individual capping of 9 buildings on September 15." Yang Jianghua said.
