On August 28, local time, OpenAI announced that it will launch ChatGPT Enterprise Edition, which provides a higher level of security and privacy, and conversation data will not be used for model training, and its execution speed will be twice that of the regular version of GPT-4.
OpenAI claims that this is the most powerful version of ChatGPT to date, with features such as unlimited and fast GPT-4.
ChatGPT Enterprise removed all usage caps and tripled the execution speed. OpenAI says we include 32k contexts in Enterprise that allow users to process input or files that are four times longer.
ChatGPT Enterprise also offers unlimited access to advanced data analytics, formerly known as code interpreters. The feature enables both technical and non-technical teams to analyze information in seconds, whether it's financial researchers working on market data, marketers analyzing survey results, or data scientists debugging ETL scripts. OpenAI is currently under revenue pressure, and launching ChatGPT Enterprise will put the company in direct competition with its largest investor and partner, Microsoft.

The new product also adds "enterprise-grade" privacy and data analysis features on top of the regular ChatGPT, as well as enhanced performance and customization options.
This puts ChatGPT Enterprise on par in terms of functionality with Microsoft's recent launch of Bing Chat Enterprise for enterprises, which is also based on GPT-4 and other technologies licensed by OpenAI.
ChatGPT Enterprise provides a new management console with tools for managing how employees within an organization use ChatGPT, including single sign-on (SSO), domain verification, and integration of dashboards with usage statistics. Shareable conversation templates allow employees to leverage ChatGPT to build internal workflows, while OpenAI's API (Application Programming Interface) platform allows companies to create fully customized ChatGPT-powered solutions as needed.
In addition, ChatGPT Enterprise has unlimited access to Advanced Data Analysis, a ChatGPT feature called a code interpreter that allows ChatGPT to analyze data, create charts, solve math problems, and more, including analyzing data from uploaded files. Brad Lightcap, chief operating officer of OpenAI, declined to give specifics about ChatGPT Enterprise's pricing, noting that prices may vary depending on the needs of each business. Lightcap says OpenAI "can work with every business to figure out which plan works best for them."
When asked how ChatGPT Enterprise compares to Microsoft Enterprise Enterprise Bing Chat Enterprise. OpenAI notes that this is an OpenAI product independent of Microsoft. That said, we want our product to work with other tools like Microsoft's. Customers can choose which platform is right for their business.
According to the company's blog post, OpenAI plans to "attract as many businesses as possible in the coming weeks."
