China Taekwondo Association: Punishes Shenzhen "X-Taekwondo Hall" for performing "zombie taekwondo" for causing a bad impact
The Chinese Taekwondo Association's punishment decision on the "X-Taekwondo Hall" in Shenzhen for performing "zombie taekwondo" that had a bad impact
Recently, the "X-Taekwondo Hall" operated by Shenzhen Aix Sports Culture Communication Co., Ltd. in Guangdong Province registered by itself and went to Seongnam City, South Korea with a tourist visa to participate in the 2023 World Taekwondo Championship (Hanmadang). The instructor of the museum, Liu Hao, wrote and directed "Zombie Taeknight" according to the horror movie. The performance promoted bad customs, vilified the national image, desecrated Chinese culture, and caused a bad impact.
After study, the following treatment is now made in accordance with the regulations:
(1) Disqualification of the "X-Taekwondo Hall" China Taekwondo Association membership level examination center qualification and national taekwondo related competitions;
(2) Revoke Liu Hao's qualification as a coach, and prohibit Liu Hao from participating in training competitions and other activities held by the China Taekwondo Association;
(3) Order the Guangdong Taekwondo Association to make an inspection and cancel the qualifications of the Guangdong Taekwondo Association and the Shenzhen Taekwondo Association within 3 years.
The incident had a bad impact and profound lessons, exposing a series of problems in the industry supervision and cultural construction of the China Taekwondo Association. The association deeply reflects on and learns lessons, will carry out a comprehensive inventory and rectification of the national taekwondo halls, strengthen the qualification review of employees in the taekwondo industry, strengthen industry supervision and work style construction, deepen the core socialist values and Chinese excellent traditional culture education, establish a healthy and progressive industry culture, carry forward the Chinese sports spirit and Olympic spirit, and spread the positive energy of sports.
