On July 3, the No. 1 Bridge Police Station of the Hot Spring Public Security Bureau in Xianning, Hubei Province, received an alert from a parent of a student that his daughter, who was attending elementary school, had been replaced by a mobile phone card in a phone watch by a strange man at the end of June on the grounds that he had borrowed a phone watch to make a phone call.
On July 4, the police of the No. 1 Bridge Police Station arrested two people involved in fraud in a hotel in Hot Springs.
After interrogation, the two confessed that since June 26, they have defrauded a total of 4 calling cards from a number of students at the gate of a primary school in Hot Springs, and used the fraudulent calling cards to impersonate logistics customer service to make fraudulent calls, and have illegally made more than 4,000 yuan.
A few days ago, two people involved in fraud have been sent to the Xian'an District Detention Center for handling according to law.
On the morning of August 2, in a venue in Yangxin County, Huangshi City, Liu and Shi borrowed their telephone watch from a primary school student who was exercising here on the pretext of borrowing a telephone watch to make a phone call, and stole the calling card in the student's watch while they were not prepared.
Subsequently, Liu and Shi sold the stolen phone cards to others in exchange for 200 yuan in cash.
At about 8 o'clock that night, two theft offenders, Liu and Shi, were arrested.
Anti-spoofing reminders
1. Children should not borrow phones, mobile phones, telephone watches without the company of parents or teachers. Adults really need and will not ask children for help.
2. If the phone card is stolen or robbed, you should immediately contact the mobile phone operator to report the loss of the account, cancel the stolen mobile phone card, and report to the police in time to prevent being used by criminals.
Parents, please tell your children not to lend your mobile phone, phone watch, etc. to strangers! Some criminals will take advantage of the child's helpful character to borrow mobile phones, phone watches and take the opportunity to replace mobile phone cards. The stolen calling card will be formed by criminals into GOIP devices (i.e. virtual dialing devices) to collude with overseas fraud gangs to make massive fraudulent calls and carry out illegal and criminal activities.
The card in the child's phone watch is generally the secondary card of the parent's phone card, and the operator identifies the abnormality of the secondary card, and the main card will be shut down and added to the bad library.

Impersonation scams
When 12-year-old Xiaotong (pseudonym) brushed a sharing platform, he saw a video sharing the QQ number of a female star, and Xiaotong added it out of curiosity.
The other party said that sending the QR code for receiving the receipt could get the red envelope, but after Xiaotong sent it, the other party said "you made a mistake in operation, and you must cooperate with us to unfreeze the funds".
Under the intimidation of the other party, Xiaotong took his father's mobile phone and obeyed the other party's request to transfer 25,000 yuan to the designated account with Alipay, and then Xiaotong's father found that he was deceived.
Fake online game transaction scams
15-year-old Xiaowen (pseudonym) saw a video of giving away game skins for free when he brushed the short video platform, so he scanned the video QR code and added the other party's QQ.
After adding, the other party turned on the video call and asked Xiaowen to operate it with his parents' mobile phone, claiming that "it is just a process, and there will be no cost".
Xiaowen got his father's mobile phone and opened the Alipay payment code according to the other party's request, and then the other party scanned the payment code 3 times, with a total loss of 6488 yuan.
Impersonating a lawyer scam
12-year-old Xiaofan (pseudonym) received a message from a QQ stranger, the other party claimed to be the lawyer of an Internet celebrity, and attached a picture of the lawyer's card, the other party told Xiaofan that "the QQ number of an Internet celebrity was stolen, you are suspected of a crime."
Xiaofan immediately panicked when he saw it, and the other party said, "In order to clear your suspicions, you have to take your parents' mobile phones to operate, and if you don't cooperate, you will call the police to arrest you."
After speaking, the other party and Xiaofan opened a video call, Xiaofan opened the payment code of his father's WeChat and Alipay to show the other party, and then the bank card was swiped away 9800 yuan.

• Do not believe the information of strangers on online platforms: "Add celebrity QQ number", "You are suspected of crime", "Free red envelope", "Free skin" and other words;
• Never video call and screen share with strangers;
