Zhao Peiyuan from Chiayi City, Taiwan, has been in Guangxi for many years and has been deeply engaged in cosmetics, tea and other industries. In May, he teamed up with friends from Hong Kong who were also learning coffee to open a specialty coffee shop in Nanning that focuses on coffee training and art exhibitions. Because he likes Greek mythology, he named the coffee shop "Thunder Mountain", and often used various themed coffee tasting activities to expand customers and promote coffee culture.

In order to switch from tea to the coffee industry, Zhao Peiyuan has invested nearly 200,000 yuan to participate in coffee examination training in Shanghai, Chengdu and other places, and obtained many certificates such as IBS Italian Barista School certified tutor. In 2019, he was invited by Taiwanese students to invest in a coffee factory in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, to build a coffee production and sales supply chain, with monthly coffee factory shipments of 7 to 8 tons. Stable supply guarantee has become the "cornerstone" of his store.

"I like to eat raw rice noodles and sticky rice, and the food of Guangxi inspires me a lot." Zhao Peiyuan said. Zhao Peiyuan loves food, is keen to check in coffee shops in Nanning, and often shares his life in Gui on social platforms. Based on years of experience in entrepreneurship and market research, he has formulated a variety of coffee drinks to cater to the taste of Nanning people. He believes that the culture of drinking coffee in Nanning, Guangxi is "slow fermentation", Nanning has a large permanent population, low density of coffee shops, and great local market potential, but the specialty coffee culture still needs to be "cultivated".

Affected by the origin and roasting process, coffee beans in different regions have different tastes and flavors. Zhao Peiyuan travels back and forth between Guangxi and Taiwan all year round to "hunt for beans", buying coffee beans that are not common in the market for blending and appreciation, and enriching tasting activities. In addition, he loves the landscape of Guangxi and looks forward to "linking" Taiwanese coffee practitioners to hold coffee cultural activities in Guizhou. "Guangxi has beautiful scenery, and we can combine landscape water and coffee culture to make international coffee cultural activities land in scenic spots." Zhao Peiyuan said.

Today, Zhao Peiyuan uses the coffee shop in Nanning as a platform to incubate the coffee training model, and successively holds activities such as Baodao Season Boutique Hand-brewed Coffee in the form of coffee brewing teaching. Talking about the future, it plans to set up a professional coffee certification classroom in Nanning, and act as an agent for coffee production equipment such as bean grinders and coffee machines manufactured in the mainland to sell them in its hometown in Taiwan. He said frankly that entrepreneurship requires long-term persistence and wants to bring professional coffee concepts to Guangxi. (End)
