#Film and television I will comment on #"Shaded Sky", a 1990 film drama film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci and starring Deborah Wenger, John Malkovich, Campbell Scott and others.
The film tells the story of composer Porter and writer's wife Kitt (Debra Wenger) who travel to the Sahara in North Africa with their friend Reina after World War II.
Film Review: Although it is as successful as any film in painting a cinematic picture of the experience of being a stranger in a strange land; Add to that some of the best desert photography ever made, rivaling even Lawrence in Arabia, North African music, noise, people, and color, and the film is truly a feast for the senses. What a wonderful final voice acting, one of the most profound and thought-provoking lines of all movies.
