Chow's original work was set in the northeast thirty years ago, and Yau Litao completely transplanted it to Hong Kong at this moment, so the dialogue, style, scenes, and props were greatly shifted.

The only Zhang Zhilin has some breakthroughs this time, slightly collecting a weak temperament, and a little more capable and masculine. But compared to the kind of downcast perseverance in the novel, it must still be a lot weaker.

Myolie Wu has played Meng Yun in many roles, even more than many other supporting roles alive. Always accompanying Luo Fei is indeed a more suitable setting for movie display, and it will look messy when used in a book.

On the contrary, the other Liang Yin has very few scenes, I personally like this character, and Director Qiu will give her more scenes next time.
