Recently, Guangzhou Mijiwang Cultural Heritage Center and Mijiwang Wing Chun Museum are very honored to be invited to participate in the 2023 "Huashu" Youth Research and Practice Carnival organized by the Career Development Center of the China Care for the Next Generation Working Committee, the magazine "Primary and Middle School Mathematics" and the Beijing Mathematical Society Popularization Committee.
This activity is mainly to show China's outstanding young people, they have good moral character, positive mental outlook and excellent mental state, the activity aims to cultivate and show the comprehensive quality of outstanding children.
Under the leadership of Ms. Huang Dongwei, the representative inheritor of municipal intangible cultural heritage, the outstanding students of Miji Wang Wing Chun Hall participated in the martial arts demonstration session of the public welfare evening of the event "Huaxia Good Boy - Huashu Carnival".
Miji Wang Wing Chun has been successfully declared as a representative item of provincial intangible cultural heritage, as a traditional Chinese martial art, it has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Communication is for better inheritance, and the exhibition and performance activities can not only convey the spirit of Chinese traditional culture and martial arts, but also stimulate the interest of young people in traditional culture, and also set an example for other children and teenagers.
Guangzhou Mijiwang Cultural Heritage Center/Mijiwang Wing Chun Museum hopes that through more such activities, Wing Chun will spread the intangible cultural heritage item of Wing Chun to more young people, accept the influence of traditional culture, and hope to inspire more children to study hard, exercise their bodies and minds, and become outstanding talents beneficial to society and the country.
