In order to welcome the first "National Ecological Day" and effectively raise the public's awareness of ecological civilization construction, on the morning of August 15, the police officers of the Second People's Court of Jinchang Intermediate People's Court went to the Zijin Flower Sea and Rose Valley Tourist Scenic Area to carry out the ecological environment rule of law publicity activity "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains".
The cadres and police officers actively carried out publicity activities, distributed propaganda color pages to the masses, popularized relevant laws and regulations on environmental protection, explained the importance of the establishment of the ecological day, called on everyone to respect nature, conform to nature, protect nature, establish the ecological concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, start from the small things around them, save water, electricity, paper, eliminate waste, advocate green life and low-carbon travel, and consciously be an advocate, actor and propagandist of environmental protection.

On June 28, 2023, the Third Session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress deliberated and adopted the Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the Establishment of National Ecological Day, designating August 15 as National Ecological Day.
