Recently, the 2023 Nansha District "National Fitness Day" and China Sports Lottery "Bay Area Nansha Health Check-in" online marathon hosted by Nansha District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau officially kicked off!
According to reports, the three-month online race has a total of four events, including marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.0975 km), healthy run (10 km), and fun run (5 km), which can meet the different running needs of the majority of runners. At the same time, different online running themes are also set from August to October.
Among them, with the theme of "Fun Running Nansha" in August, combined with the unique coastal geographical resources of Nansha District, five trajectory check-in points were set up in the Wanli Bi Road built in Nansha: Jiaomen River Park Bidao, Haibin Road Bidao, Nansha Phoenix Lake Bidao, Wanqingsha Town Tongxing Village Greenway, and Dongchung Town Dawen Village Gua Guo Greenway. Participants can check in Nansha and visit Nansha through the running track, and feel the characteristics and construction achievements of Nansha's coastal city.

In September, with the theme of "Fun and Play in Nansha", combined with the characteristics of ecology, tourism and natural resources in Nansha District, five check-in points were set up in Nansha District: 18 Luohan Mountain Forest Park, Huangshan Lu Forest Park, Nansha Wetland Park, Nansha Waterbird World Ecological Park and Dongchung Water Town Customs Street.
In October, with the theme of "Taste and Appreciate Nansha", combined with the historical and cultural characteristics of Nansha District and the integrated development characteristics of the Bay Area, six check-in points were set up in Nansha District: Tianhou Temple, Puzhou Fort, Nansha Yacht Club, Chuangxiang Bay, Nansha Library, and Nanbeitai Community.
Online runs with different themes are exciting. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to receive rich prizes and benefits while completing check-ins and enjoying the tourism, history and culture of Nansha and the integrated development of the Bay Area.
Since its launch in 2021, the "Bay Area Nansha, Health Check-in" online marathon has been successfully held twice. The event has become one of the representative national fitness brands in Nansha. This year's online marathon is supported by the China Sports Lottery, according to statistics, there are currently 113 sports lottery outlets in Nansha District, with a total sales of 142 million yuan from January to July 2023. As a national public welfare lottery, the public welfare fund raised by the China Sports Lottery helps the national fitness movement and injects vigorous impetus into the development of sports. On the basis of summarizing the experience of previous editions, the event continues to enrich the gameplay of online competitions, and is committed to attracting more runners and citizens to come to Nansha and taste Nansha, further set off a boom in national running, help Nansha create a good atmosphere for national sports and participation, and further promote the creation of a vibrant Nansha.

1. Those who collect the theme check-in points of the month will receive one commemorative T-shirt and one medal, limited to 200 copies, on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Collect the top 200 of the three-month theme check-in and give a commemorative custom set of the event.
3. Completion draw: Among all the runners who complete the online marathon project they have reported, 300 will be randomly selected and a special derivative gift of the online marathon will be awarded.
In addition, after the competition, rewards will be given according to the monthly running volume and cumulative total running volume of the participants and running groups in Nansha District during the competition.
