A total of eight teams advanced to the subsequent double-elimination stage with PRX and DRX from the Pacific Division, EG and LOUD from the Americas Division, FNC and FUT from the EMEA Division, and EDG and BLG from the CN Division.
On August 14, two revenge battles were staged, EDG defeated GIA 2-1, BLG defeated NRG 2-0, EDG played GIA again in the first game of the day, and BLG again played NRG in the second game, both Chinese teams defeated their opponents 2-0 to advance to the quarterfinals of the Los Angeles Global Championship.
The first game was played by EDG against GIA, and EDG won the pistol round in the opening game and scored back-to-back, and GIA called a timeout directly in the face of fierce attack.
