Under the general trend of new energy, all traditional car companies are actively preparing for the new energy track. After Changan launched the navy blue brand last year, it has a good performance in sales, but Changan, which is uneasy about the status quo, will once again make efforts in the field of new energy, bringing consumers a new brand and model - Changan Kaiyuan A07.
This time I was invited to participate in the static tasting activity of Changan Kaiyuan A07, and the first reaction of seeing the real car on the scene can be summarized in two ways: pleasing to the eye.
Maybe it's because of the imagination of the new force models, or maybe the Changan UNI series has brought us too much spiritual impact, the design of Kaiyuan A07 in terms of appearance, I think is that the current medium and large pure electric cars should have an average, atmospheric and unassuming.
Changan Qiyuan A07 adopts the popular through-through headlamp design, combined with the hidden grille common to new energy models, and the overall feeling is mainly simple. Officially called: Fuguang aesthetic design, the main concept of elegance and atmosphere, is indeed very in line with the aesthetics of the Chinese people.
It's just that Chang'an Qiyuan's logo inevitably makes people a little dramatic, I always think that where I have seen it, there is some familiar feeling.
It wasn't until I returned to the hotel where the media stayed, opened the long video software and prepared to immerse myself in the experience, that I found that the logo of the game company created by the villain Nolan in "Ready Player One" directed by Spielberg was very similar. It seems that Chang'an is already planning ahead for entering the VR era, but I suggest that we still have to be down-to-earth.
With a length, width and height of 4905/1910/1480mm and a wheelbase of 2900mm, the Kaiyuan A07 is positioned as a mid-to-large car, and adopts a sliding back shape and frameless doors. In terms of body size, the direct competitors of Kaiyuan A07 will be BYD Han, Nezha S, Lantu Chasing Light and other models. The actual car is equipped with 245/45 R19 large-size wheels, the tire brand is Hankook, and the low-end model will be equipped with 18-inch propeller wheels, which is comparable to the performance of competing products.
The rear of the Changan Kaiyuan A07 echoes the front of the car, and also adopts a design of through-type taillights, and the Changan Kaiyuan logo also proves its independent brand identity. The addition of the liftgate is praiseworthy, both in terms of styling and the practicality of the trunk, which is slightly superior to the sedan model. From the actual experience on the spot, the trunk space of the Kaiyuan A07 is comparable to that of SUV models, plus the rear seats support proportional reclining, and the scalability is better.
The model displayed on the scene is most likely to be an extended range version, and from the information learned earlier, Kaiyuan A07 will adopt two power modes: pure electric and extended range. The all-electric version will be equipped with 160kW and 190kW electric motors, and the battery pack will be equipped with batteries of 58.1kWh and 79.97kWh, respectively, corresponding to a cruising range of 515 and 710km, respectively.
The extended-range version uses a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine as the range extender, with a maximum power of 70kW and a drive motor with a maximum power of 160kW, which is the same as the navy SL03. The battery pack is equipped with a 28.39kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with a pure electric cruising range of 170 km, and the official fuel consumption per 100 km feed is 5.0L/100 km.
The interior of Changan Kaiyuan A07 can see some dark blue shadows, especially the design of the steering wheel and the texture of the wood grain trim. Most of the physical buttons in the car have been replaced, the size of the center control screen is satisfactory and smooth, and the UI interface has been redesigned to be different from the page layout of Deep Blue's models.
Changan Kaiyuan A07 is not stingy in terms of configuration, such as full surround sky concert hall, wrap-around cloud seats, huge immersive panoramic canopy, intelligent waterfall surround ambient lights and other configurations are not absent. Interestingly, the alternative position of the fragrance system is designed under the center control screen, built-in three different styles of fragrance, corresponding to the Chinese names: Zhen, Zhi, Yue, it seems that the owner of Kaiyuan A07 will have to replace the fragrance device in the future, and the probability will have to rely on the official store.
From today's actual experience, Changan Kaiyuan A07 is still satisfactory in terms of product strength, but from the interior design, configuration and power system selection, it is also doomed that Kaiyuan A07 is not suitable for excessive pricing.
