In the territory of Xunyi, it is still such a thick green.
Driving past the bridge between Xunyi Huangpotou Town and Gansu Zhengning, only separated by a ditch, the trees on the opposite side are obviously sparser than Xunyi, and the green is also lighter!
The trees planted on the slope protection along the highway have not yet grown, and in some places there are still clumps of dead grass.
Only when it comes to Heshui, the green gradually dense! The terraced terraces on the mountain are full of greenery! In the plain of Zhengning and the plain of Heshui, the crops grow about the same as Xunyi, where the wheat has just been harvested, and there are still golden stubble in the field!
In Ning County, Heshui, the climate looks better than Zhengning, this area, belongs to Longdong granary, there are many roadside vegetable bases, rows of vegetable greenhouses, people mistakenly think that they have reached the Guanzhong Plain. But the terrain here appears higher than that of Shun-eup, and it seems closer to the sky.
After passing Ning County, entering Huanxian County, passing through the tunnels of Willow Ridge, Chenjiapo, Leijiazhai, Wuzishan, Baicaoyuan, and Yuhuangshan, the climate is completely different.
The road keeps going up, and as the altitude rises, the trees on the mountain are almost out of sight!

But after passing through several tunnels and reaching the Huanxian North Service Area, it is already very different. The climate in a prefecture, because of the barrier of a mountain, has become two worlds. On the mountains here, there is only a faint layer of thin green.
Who would have thought that in such a desolate place, under the hillside, there would also be people who dug caves to live and grow crops in low-lying places.
Although it was the height of summer, the hillside was still grassy, but there was nothing to look close by, and the only low tree stood out.
What good crops can grow in such a place? How hard it is to survive.
Having entered Ningxia, it seems to be the realm of Zhongning! The mountains are almost uninhabited and are deserts, but there are wind turbines everywhere, making this desert a base for new energy.

On the plateau of Zhongning, the sky seems to be within reach, and the land here is mostly plateau meadows, and clumps of apparently artificially planted desert shrubs form a unique landscape.
As we get closer to the center back, the ground gradually becomes lower, and the green color becomes thicker. On this road, sometimes deserts and deserts, suddenly turned into oases, alternating with each other, and the rapid replacement is simply dizzying.
Finally entered the Zhongwei Realm.
The Yellow River is rich in Ningxia, which is the Yellow River irrigation area and the granary of the Ningxia River Loop.

In the urban area of Zhongwei, the streets are very wide, not at all like border cities, so although there are many vehicles, there is no traffic jam. On the side of the road is a wide green belt, a channel of clear water, the water of the Yellow River flows here, there is no mud to see, in the clear canal water, there are reeds, various aquatic plants, lotus flowers.
Can you tell if this is a city in the desert?
Shapotou Scenic Area in Shapotou District, Zhongwei City, is the five-A scenic spot of CTS Group, I didn't go in time, I heard that the ticket is very expensive, but I didn't go in when I passed by.
Out of the city, there are too many desert scenic spots on both sides of the highway, as if anyone who circles a desert and puts a few container houses can become a scenic spot and receive tourists.
Many scenic spots have similar names, and I don't know who is Li Kui and who is Li Ghost. There are Tonghu grassland, East Lake grassland, desert starry sky, desert star island, and similar names abound. Probably the Tonghu grassland belongs to Ningxia Zhongwei, while the Donghu grassland belongs to the Alxa Zuoqi in Inner Mongolia, in fact, the two provinces border the same place.
But after the boundary monument, the architectural style is completely different. The houses in Inner Mongolia are all gold-roofed cornices.
This is not actually a grassland, but a desert scenic area, where you can ride off-road and surf sandboarding.
The "hotel" in the desert is actually a container house, a white cloth tent.
In the desert, such a spring water seems so precious. By the pool is a circle of white cloth tents. There are two mattresses and two sets of bedding inside, 250 yuan a day, and the bathroom is a public toilet more than ten meters away.

In the desert, there are especially many such insects, and the ground is full of their lying marks, I don't know what kind of worm and what they eat.
Sitting on a sand mountain and watching the sunset view was the most wonderful.

On the grassland by the lake, there are mostly artificially planted white thorns (above), which is a desert green plant.
The shrubs of the genus are multi-branched and dense, clumpy, and have a strong ability to fix and block sand. The white thorn is found in the saline soil of the desert region of central Asia, there are 8 species worldwide, and 5 species are distributed on the mainland
It is mainly distributed on the flat sand around the lake basin, and the growth of white thorns changes the flat appearance of the sandy ground and forms dense sand piles. From a height, especially from the air, it looks like a huge camouflaged "tank base". People refer to this as the "white thorn pile" or "white thorn bag".
These sand piles are generally 1~2 meters high, up to 5 meters, and the diameter is more than 2~3 meters, and a large sand pile can accumulate thousands of cubic meters of sand. In addition to the function of sand fixation, the whitethorn sand has also become a better grazing ground in the desert.
The white thorn fruit is called "desert cherry". The size of a soybean kernel, it is oval in shape and black-red or orange-yellow when ripe. A white thorn bag 3 meters long and 2 meters wide can produce about 3 or 4 kilograms of white thorn fruit. The white thorn buns with fruits hanging during the ripening period have also become a new landscape in the desert, which is particularly beautiful.
The grassland of the lake belongs to cattle and sheep, and there are herds of cattle and sheep on the grassland on the side of the road, and these herds cross the road without anyone to the grassland on the other side of the road.
This cow, seeing the passing car, not only was not afraid, but also stopped in the middle of the road, looking back and quietly looking at the vehicles blocked by it and parked on the road, quite like the pride of the Indian sacred cow.
After a long time, it walked unhurriedly to the grass over there, and the vehicles on the road could continue to move forward.
