It is reported that the new regulations specify that the vehicle purchase tax reduction policy for new energy vehicles will be extended for 4 years, that is, extended to December 31, 2027. Among them, new energy vehicles purchased between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025 are exempt from vehicle purchase tax, and the exemption amount for each vehicle does not exceed 30,000 yuan. The vehicle purchase tax will be halved for new energy vehicles purchased between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2027, and the tax reduction amount per vehicle shall not exceed 15,000 yuan.
