German real estate tycoon Thailand died tragically after disappearing! Murder, dismemberment, police release more details

Last week, German real estate tycoon Hans Peter Mack disappeared. According to the New York Post on July 10, Mack's body has been recovered, dismembered and stuffed into the freezer of his friend's rental house in Thailand. It is understood that the victim may have been tortured before being killed.

According to the Bangkok Post previously reported, Mike is 62 years old and his wife is Thai. On July 4, local time (the day Mike disappeared), Mike made an appointment to have lunch with his wife, but until ten o'clock in the evening, Mike did not return home, and sent a message to his wife that he was still discussing business. His wife said that during the five years she and Mike were together, he never contacted him in the form of a message. Later, Mike never returned home, and his wife reported that Mike was missing.

Mike's family offered a reward of 85,900 US dollars (about 619,000 yuan) in the hope of finding Mike.

On the morning of July 9, local time, the police found the Mercedes-Benz car that Mike was driving on the day of his disappearance in the parking lot of an apartment. A local food vendor said the car had been parked here a few days earlier, during which she saw two women getting out of the car.

According to the person in charge of the investigation, traces of the use of coolant and detergent were found in the seats, dashboard, steering wheel and other places of the car, and said: "These traces are a manifestation of the intention to destroy evidence, and also indirectly indicate that Mike's disappearance is very suspicious." ”

On the evening of July 10, local time, the police saw a suspicious scene in the surveillance video, which should be a black truck belonging to a foreigner and transporting a freezer. Following the truck's tracks, police found a rental house in Pattaya, southeast of Bangkok, and found Mike's body, dismembered and packed in a garbage bag, in the freezer of the rental house. It is understood that this freezer is the same as what was seen in the surveillance before.

Neighbors said that as early as three months ago, the rental house housed Mike's German friend Olaf and a disabled German woman, both of Mike's colleagues.

The police then interrogated the two men, along with another suspected German. In addition, the police believe that it is likely that Thais were also involved in the murder.

Police removed plastic bags from freezers

On the 12th, Thai police arrested two Germans involved in the case. Nongpru town police chief Tawi Kudtara said that a 52-year-old German man was arrested in Bangkok on the evening of the 11th, and a 47-year-old German woman turned himself in to the police earlier in the day. The two have been charged with murder and police are still searching for a third suspect. Kudtara Ang has previously said authorities also found a large amount of money missing from Mack's bank account, a crime that police believe is linked to extortion.

Deputy Commissioner of Thailand's National Police Surachate Hakparn said the third suspect, Saluk, was still at large. Behind the suspects is a transnational criminal network that involves drugs, using Thailand as a base for operations.

Mike's family

Surache said transnational criminal organizations had been targeting Mike for a month. The group moved Mike's assets, scattered across about 10 criminal accounts. Police believe the people with criminal accounts are still inside Thailand and say an arrest warrant will be issued against the criminal account owners. Surache instructed the Thai Immigration Police to deal with all transnational criminal networks in Pattaya and Nong Prau districts to prevent such kidnappings from happening again.
