In the autumn of the forty-ninth year of Qianlong, Yuan Zhen sailed in the waters of Xing'an by boat and wrote the poem "From Guilin to Xing'an":
The river to Xing'an has the clearest water, and green mountains are clustered in the water.
Clearly see the top of the green mountain, and the boat goes up the top of the green mountain.
The last two sentences of the poem, "Clearly see the top of the green mountain, the boat goes up the top of the green mountain", which means that the green mountains on both sides of the river are reflected in the Li River, and the boat is like walking on the top of the green mountain. The river water is crystal clear, and the beautiful Guilin landscape is reflected in the river water, how beautiful it is!
Yuan was a famous poet in the middle of the Qing Dynasty and the chief general of the "Sexual Spirit School". This is the second time that Yuan Zhen has come to Guilin to write poems, he loved grand tours all his life, especially in his later years during the tour, he wrote a large number of landscape poems, this "From Guilin to Xing'an" is one of the masterpieces.
