Let's start with the white eye problem of the Brazilian turtle. The white-eyed and pneumonia-infected Brazilian turtle couldn't open its eyes when he first arrived home. I decisively raised alone and added eye drops and erythromycin ointment treatment, but three or four days passed, there was no effect at all, and even the turtle stretched its neck to breathe, I checked the information on the Internet, the probability is the problem of pneumonia, need amoxicillin treatment, I decisively bought amoxicillin and straws for the treatment of turtle pneumonia online.
Online information says that this pneumonia is particularly difficult to treat, the mortality rate is quite high, there is no way, you can only try. After getting the medicine and straw, I tried to use the straw to feed the turtle, but it was very uncooperative, and all the injection into the mouth was vomited, so I switched to a medicated bath, observe and observe first, and now give it a constant temperature of 30 ° C to rest.
Let's talk about the rotting skin of the jailbreak turtle. The reason for the rotten skin of this flower turtle that escaped from prison may be because it stayed outside alone for a few days on a hot day, caused by lack of water, and rotten skin is the most common disease of flower turtles, I am not very worried, the general treatment is to apply medicine to constant temperature rest, I want to try muddy water rest, let it heal itself, so I threw it in a muddy water tank and raised it with the grass turtle, unmedicated.
But this turtle will often stand on the sundeck, and it will be like this for several days, and the other two turtles bought back later do not have this problem. At first, this carrion turtle also eats. But I didn't eat for the next two days, so I continued to observe for another two days.
After saying the bad news, let's talk about the good news, the two flower turtles I bought back are healthy and lively, can eat and pull, basically feed as much as they eat, and then the pot pulled is full of. And I found that flower turtles especially like to eat vegetables and melons, which I couldn't see before feeding egg turtles; The grass turtle I bought at the beginning, although it is a little smaller, is also very edible without any problems, which is more gratifying.
Then there is a healthy Brazilian turtle, I am a little worried about it now, its problem is also love to climb on the sundeck to dry the back, I am worried because of the temperature difference is too big to get sick, observe it again, if it doesn't work, remove the sundeck or raise the water level.
