"Disappearing Her" was a hit, I was not a person who liked to make fun, but I still watched this film with curiosity and expectation, but I always have to feel two words: disappointed.
The film tells the story of an "obsessive woman with a negative heart", and although the heroine ends with death, it still does not move me deeper.
First, the story itself is not shocking enough. There are too many stories of this kind of "infatuated woman with a negative heart", both ancient and modern. The heroine of "Disappearing Her" is as noble as a fairy: worth billions, both parents are dead, beautiful as a flower, gentle and kind and quite artistic; The male protagonist is so humble that there is no bottom line: he comes from a humble background, has an unfortunate family, and is riddled with drugs, and finally develops into a madness. Such two characters who are divorced from life really do not have a greater power to move people's hearts.
Second, the presentation of the story is too dramatic. Although the movie itself is a drama, how infectious and alive is the drama that is divorced from life?
The story of the film is based on life, but it is detached from life. Especially the heroine's girlfriend Shen Man, the "director" in the movie, in addition to directing a thrilling drama of revenge for friends, but also turned into a "gold medal lawyer", using divine detection methods to find out the truth, which is simply unacceptable, is this still a "person"? Such a "god" girlfriend dilutes the image of the hero and heroine, making the story that could have touched people's hearts a "divine drama".
