According to the Daily Star on July 11, Prince William's response to a young boy who jokingly admitted not knowing who he was.
A video that resurfaced on TikTok last week showed Prince William meeting and greeting the public while walking in Windsor, when he encountered a potentially awkward interaction.
One of the boys in the crowd was visibly excited and wanted to glance at the Prince of Wales, though standing a yard away did not seem to recognize him.
In the video, the boy asks, "How long will it be before we see Prince William?"
William quickly winked at the boy's parents: "We don't know where he is!" （"We don't know where he is!）
"Have you seen him?"
Prince William asked the little boy if he knew who he was, and the little boy said, "Well... Officials?"
"I'm not an official," William said with a laugh. "Do I look like this?"
Finally, the kids finally figured out who the prince was, and they turned to their mom and said, "Mom, that's Prince William."
The video, which took to social media, sparked a flood of positive comments about Prince William's behavior during the walk, a day after King Charles' official coronation.
