Last Friday (July 7th), the Marvel movie "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" officially launched digital resources, involving iTunes and other platforms.
The relevant high-definition resources were actually leaked in advance on the night of July 6.
In order to cooperate with the launch of digital resources, "rolling guide" James Gunn made another wave of publicity in various media interviews and shared a lot of interesting behind-the-scenes facts with everyone.
Here are two things to share with you.
(1) Stan Lee cameo made a cameo appearance by having to be abandoned
Friends who have watched "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" know that in the prison created by Supreme Evolution, there is a character who appears only for a few seconds but impresses everyone.
Here it is: Lambshank.
Through Lambshank's appearance, we can't tell what species the prototype of this life is.
Perhaps it has been transformed by the Supreme Evolutionary Perversion and has completely become a deformed life.
This role was originally prepared for a cameo appearance by Stan Lee.
According to the roller guide:
"I originally created my character Lambshank for Stan Lee because I wrote the film before Stan Lee died.
I knew he was getting older and it would be more difficult to take him to Atlanta to shoot, so I made a character that I could animate directly and have him voice over with a face that looked like Stan Lee.
But unfortunately, Stan passed away, and I really enjoyed working with him and directing these films many times. ”
Although "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" will be released in 2023, the first draft of the film's script was submitted to Marvel as early as June 2018.
The following month, Rolling Guide was fired by Disney and experienced a lot of negative reviews.
In November of the same year, Stan Lee died.
(2) Star-Lord Independent Film Project
In the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 ending Easter egg, the ending text mentions that "the legendary Star-Lord will return".
According to the sharing of the rolling director, the plan for Star-Lord's independent film actually exists.
The plot of the film will revolve around "Star-Lord on Earth trying to adapt to the Earth's environment", playing a role similar to "Earthlings may try to adapt to the alien environment of outer space".
"Oh, but it's not quite over yet. We always want to give everyone something special. Chris and I are always talking about being able to make a 'Legendary' movie, a great story. Star-Lord on Earth tries to adapt to Earth's environment, just as others may try to adapt to an alien environment in outer space. He is like a fish out of water, in ordinary water. So I can't wait to see it. ”
Of course, friends who know Marvel know that the rolling director is now the head of DC Pictures.
For now, this plan can only be a plan.
Even if Marvel decides to make an independent movie of Star-Lord, it doesn't have much to do with rolling director.
To say that Star-Lord returns in "Avengers 5" or "Avengers 6" is more reasonable.
