Hollywood actor Brad Pitt recently appeared at the F1 British Grand Prix, and he also borrowed Silverstone to shoot the new F1-themed racing film "Bending Heart" (tentative translation).
Starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris (Black Mirror), Carey Condon (Inischelin's Banshee), Javier Bardem (The Ricciardos), Tobias Menkis (The Crown) and seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton will also appear.
The film tells the story of retired driver Sonny Hayes (Pitt) who returns as a mentor to assist young driver Joshua Pierce (Idris), and teams up with him to fight for honor on the track for the last time. Carey Condon plays the team's technical director, overseeing the design and development of complex race cars.
"Top Gun 2" and "Genesis" director Joseph Kosinski directed, he and "Top Gun 2" multiple partners reunited, including screenwriter Ellen Kruger, producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Auman, Lewis Hamilton and Pitt's Plan B company co-produced.
The film will be available on Apple TV+ streaming next year.
