The three-storey building, located between de la Cava Alta and the heights of Alcazaba, fills the gaps in the urban fabric while ensuring connectivity between public realms. The open grand staircase that surrounds the building side and combines the plaza to connect the rich spatial levels. The main entrance of the building is located on the side of the de la Cava Alta, while on the top floor, the entrance to the sky terrace allows its users to enter and exit freely and overlook the panoramic view of the rolling city of Alcazaba.
▽ The Plaza de la Cava Alta connects the urban spaces of different heights with the grand staircase on one side of the building
▽ The upper end of the staircase is connected to the high ground in Alcazaba
▽ The perfect combination of architecture and urban public space
Along the side of Trasgrisolías Street, rooms of different sizes are arranged in succession, some of which are slightly staggered, creating two large light openings that allow sunlight to pass through the narrow street and into the offices located in the lower space of the building. At the back of the building, stairs and elevators are built against retaining walls, forming a simple and well-defined overall flow that connects the upper and lower spaces. Sunlight streams in through a skylight at the top of the inner courtyard, illuminating the enclosed interior space. Outside the skylight, slightly protruding floor slabs cover windows and stairs, giving people a sense of security. In the future, this staircase will become a key point connecting the building and its surroundings, bringing the entire neighborhood together.
