The "Notice on the Strict Prohibition of Bullfrog Breeding" of the county people's government pointed out that bullfrogs are invasive alien species, and large-scale breeding will cause serious damage and threat to ecological balance. At the same time, bullfrog breeding density is high, excrement or sewage is directly discharged, sick and dead frog bodies are discarded at will, foul odor and mosquito and fly breeding are not only seriously damaged by soil, water and surrounding ecological environment, but also with the deterioration of the breeding environment, it will lead to a continuous decline in the quality of aquatic products and prominent food safety problems.

In order to strengthen the protection of the water environment in the watershed of the county and consolidate the results of environmental rectification in recent years. On June 22, 2018, the county people's government issued the "Notice on the Strict Prohibition of Bullfrog Breeding", from the date of the notice, it is strictly forbidden to add bullfrog breeding throughout the county, and once discovered, it will be severely punished according to law and the responsibility of relevant units and personnel will be seriously investigated. For existing bullfrog farms, they will be closed, dismantled and restored to cultivation by themselves within a time limit, and compulsory measures will be taken to close and dismantle them in accordance with the law.
