According to article 358 of the Criminal Law of the mainland, the act of gathering and controlling multiple people to engage in prostitution is the crime of organizing prostitution, and may be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years but not more than ten years, and a fine in accordance with the law; Where the circumstances are serious, the organization of prostitution of others may be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years or life imprisonment, and a fine or confiscation of property; If the circumstances are particularly serious, they shall be sentenced to life imprisonment and confiscation of property.
If a business organizes or controls the engagement of multiple people in prostitution, as long as more than 10 people are organized into prostitution, if the number of prostitutes is organized to leave the country for prostitution, or the prostitutes commit suicide, or the amount involved in the case is more than 1 million yuan, the circumstances will constitute serious circumstances and may be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years or life imprisonment, and a fine and confiscation of property.
