Call for papers: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Smart Agriculture
The application of artificial intelligence and robot technology to field planting, facility planting, livestock and poultry breeding, aquaculture and other fields to achieve accurate perception, intelligent control and intelligent management of the production process will help form an agricultural production mode with higher resource utilization, higher labor productivity and better employment experience. In order to report the latest research progress in the field of smart agriculture, this journal plans to launch the special topic of "Artificial Intelligence and Robot Technology for Smart Agriculture", aiming to discuss and exchange the latest achievements in basic theoretical innovation, key technology research and development, and application mode exploration in this field. The feature is to be published in the 4th issue of 2023, and Li Qifeng, a researcher at the Information Technology Research Center of Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, is specially invited to serve as the editor-in-chief, and Dr. Huang Zichen of Kyoto University in Japan is invited to serve as the international editor.
1. Scope of submissions
Including but not limited to: artificial intelligence and robot technology in field planting, facility planting, livestock and poultry breeding, aquaculture and other aspects of technology and equipment innovation.
II. Submission Requirements

The original research paper that has not been published is in either one language in Chinese and English, which meets the scope of this topic, with clear views, detailed materials, correct data, reasonable argumentation, and standardized format.

The text is concise, the content is substantial, including Chinese and English titles, author information, abstracts, keywords, fund projects, text, references, charts and figures can be edited, no less than 7,000 words, word document submission.

Li Qifeng Researcher
Li Qifeng, Ph.D., researcher, is currently the deputy director of the Information Technology Research Center of Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, the chief expert of Beijing Digital Agriculture Innovation Team, the vice chairman of the Animal Husbandry Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering, the vice chairman of the Agricultural Information Branch of the Chinese Agricultural Society, the member of the Agricultural Informatization Standardization Technical Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the director of the National Animal Husbandry Science and Technology Innovation Alliance. Mainly engaged in the research of animal husbandry information technology, research and development of livestock and poultry breeding environment, animal behavior monitoring and other special sensors and control equipment, breeding environment regulation, livestock and poultry video and voiceprint recognition model, breeding comprehensive information management platform and other series of technical products more than 20 sets, presided over more than 30 various project topics, published more than 70 papers, edited 3 monographs, obtained more than 20 patents, 30 software copyrights, won the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award 2.
International Editor
Dr. Huang Zichen
Huang Zichen, graduated from Kyoto University with a master's degree and a Ph.D., has successively served as a researcher and visiting researcher at Kyoto University, and a special researcher for foreigners of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Mainly engaged in the research of low-cost sensor technology for facility agriculture, including positioning and navigation system for agricultural robots in greenhouses, high-throughput acquisition technology of plant phenotype based on fluorescence imaging, and rapid detection technology of agricultural product quality. In 2021, he was selected as an International Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. He published 10 SCI papers and 3 EI papers as the first or corresponding author. He currently serves as the youth editorial board member of Journal of Integrative Agriculture, Smart Agriculture (Chinese and English), published 14 international conferences, reviewed 15 SCI journals, and was awarded IJABE Outstanding Reviewer in 2022.

Smart Agriculture (Chinese and English) is a bilingual agricultural journal sponsored by the Institute of Agricultural Information, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, edited by Academician Zhao Chunjiang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Based on agricultural information technology, the journal builds a high-level academic exchange platform by publishing and disseminating the latest research results at home and abroad. The journal ranked first in the first impact factor ranking of agricultural comprehensive disciplines in 2022, and has been rated as "China Science and Technology Core Journal" and "China Agriculture and Forestry Core Journal", and has been indexed by China Science Citation Database (CSCD) Core Library, Scopus, DOAJ, EBSCO, CABI and other international databases.
