On September 20, 2022, a shooting shocked the United States.
Emma Brown, just 12, turned the gun on her father, Daniel Brown, 38, and pulled the trigger.
After Daniel was shot in the abdomen, Emma committed suicide. She shot herself in the head and died two days after being taken to hospital.

It turned out that Emma had made a date with another girl of the same age from Texas, murdered her entire family separately, and then ran away together.

According to the investigation report, the original plan for Emma to drive to Texas to pick up friends after killing her family, and then go to Georgia together.
However, on the night of the incident, Emma shot herself after shooting her father and walking a few hundred meters along the driveway.
After Daniel fell to the ground, he called the police for help. Subsequently, he was rushed to the hospital for rescue and was out of danger.
Daniel is now fully recovered.

Daniel holds a Federal Firearm License, which legally sells weapons to civilians. Because of this, her daughter can easily get a gun at home.

Until now, Emma's family has not slowed down. They refused all media interviews and were unwilling to express their thoughts on the matter.
And the girl of the same age from Texas who made an appointment with Emma, the district attorney's office confirmed that she had been charged with conspiracy to murder, but her identity was kept secret from the public because of the juvenile protection law.
